Back roads of the Andes
Mountain biking from Lake Titicaca to Machu Picchu
This Andean mountain bike trip is awesome – tough, remote, achievable - and goes to Peru’s cool, off-the-beaten track places, combing dirt roads with single track biking.
The Back Roads trip is a challenging but highly rewarding Trans-Andean odyssey that few have done before.
You acclimatise at the beautiful Lake Titicaca, staying at a new community project while getting the bikes ready.
Then we’re off into the Andes, mixing climbs with swooping descents which take us past incredible rock formations to colonial cities forgotten by time.
Single track
You can zoom down single tracks to test your technical skills, knowing that every push of the pedals drives you closer to Cusco and the famous Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.
We mix camping with home stays to give you an authentic taste of Andean life as you scoot through Peru’s Highlands.
The Sacred Valley rides is one of the best days rides available in Peru and a great way to finish the biking.
The world famous Machu Picchu is a fitting end to your trip and we give you a full guided tour of the famous Inca citadel.
This is an unforgettable trip for biking enthusiasts that want a real adventure.
